Kisses: How did you two meet?

Mandy & Neal: We met through mutual friends in high school. He came to my school's basketball games where I was a cheerleader and from that point on we became the best of friends.

Kisses: How did he propose?

M&N: We met for dinner after work at one of my favorite restaurants in Savannah, Vic's on the River. Before dinner, while waiting on our table, we went out on one of their balconies overlooking Riverstreet and he proposed! Of course the answer was yes!

Kisses: What do you like best about your spouse?

Mandy: His smile. No matter what kind of mood I may be in he always makes me laugh - he is my best friend!

Kisses: Why did you choose Savannah for your wedding?

M&N: We were both born and raised in Savannah and we love the city. There isn't a more beautiful place!

Kisses: Each of you, please list your top three favorite things about your wedding day and tell why:

Mandy:

1) Seeing Neal when the church doors opened. The moment I saw him I was at ease. I will never forget that moment!

2) Sharing one of the most important days of my life with our friends and family. They mean the world to us.

3) The day - everything was absolutely amazing!

Neal:

1) Marrying my best friend!

2) The reception. The atmosphere, food, everything was amazing.

3) Seeing Mandy at the end of the aisle at the start of our ceremony

If there's one thing you'll notice in all of our wedding story posts, our couples only remember the good! Just a Kisses reminder to make the most of your day and know that you, too, will only remember the best of times and, chances are, if a mishap does happen, it will just become a laughable memory to share for a lifetime! Again, congratulations Mandy and Neal! We wish blessings and happiness to you both.

Kisses for now!

What an exciting month it has been here at Kisses! Our Facebook promotion has really taken off (and if you haven't "liked" us yet be sure to by the end of the month and you'll be entered in our random drawing to win a Low Country Luxe candle!). We have also received great response to our wedding stories feature and encourage you to send in your stories to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it as well! If you have a beautiful wedding story to tell and also want to brag on everyone you used to help make it happen, we want to hear from you. So just email us and we'll send you everything you need for us to take your story to our Kisses readers.

Julia heard about us and did just that - and we're so glad she did! She was a gorgeous bride with a fairytale wedding for sure! Better yet, she couldn't wait to promote all of the vendors she used to make her big day the success it was and we at Kisses have a fond appreciation for that. There's no better recommendation than one from a bride who has been there herself and we hope that these stories will help you find all the wedding experts you need. So, without further delay, read on about Julia and Andrew's wedding and happy first anniversary to the happy couple!

Kisses: How did Andrew propose?

J&A: It was Christmas 2008 and Andrew gave me a carriage ride through downtown Savannah as a gift. At Whitfield Square we got out and he proposed in the gazebo.

Kisses: What do you like best about your spouse?

Julia: Andrew has such an amazing and kind heart. He has never met a stranger and everyone loves him. He truly is my perfect other half and an amazing husband.

Andrew: Julia and I have fun together, which to me is very important. She keeps me focused and organized and is a hard worker but she still knows how to cut loose and have a good time. She is a wonderful and beautiful wife.

Kisses: Why did you choose Savannah for your wedding?

J&A: Getting married in Savannah was a given! We both grew up here and could not imagine getting married anywhere else.

Andrew:

1) Seeing my beautiful bride

2) The great weather we ended up having

3) Seeing our friends and family enjoying and dancing to the awesome band on the bluff at the Savannah Yacht Club

Again, happy first anniversary to the happy couple and thanks for sharing your story with Kisses! We hope this has given all of our readers some new inspiration so that your wedding day can be just as perfect as Julia and Andrew's was!

Kisses for now!

Craig & Brianna Sapp Wedding E-mail

We're so happy to tell the story of our second wedding-of-the-month couple, Craig and Brianna Sapp. Sharing beautiful wedding stories is definitely a lot of fun and is also a great way to help you, our brides-to-be, learn a tip or two from someone who has recently been there. We especially love the last question where we ask the bride and groom, separately, to tell us what they remember most about their big day; it's a good way to know what matters most when your own day arrives. We also love to list the wedding professionals each couple used as a way to give you more ideas of who to contact based on great recommendations.

You'll find all of our wedding stories (a new feature to our site) by clicking the main link above "wedding stories" and hope that if you or someone you know wants to share with Kisses about a specia weddingl day, that you'll contact us at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. Kisses: How did you and Craig meet?

B&C: We had mutual friends at Armstrong Atlantic State University and had seen each other around campus. One day I was on campus and didn't have my phone. I saw him and asked to borrow his...the rest is history!: )

Kisses: How did Craig propose?

B&C: We were in the car on the way back home from Atlanta. I was having an awful day and, not knowing he had planned on taking me to a really nice restaurant, fell asleep! I threw off his whole plan! He finally woke me up but there was nothing around except a Taco Bell. Not wanting to propose at Taco Bell, he couldn't wait any longer and put in a CD he had made with our song (This Kind of Love by Sister Hazel). His voice then came on and he popped open the glove compartment and the ring box was sitting there! I started crying and, of course, said yes!

Kisses: What do you like best about your spouse?

Brianna: HIS HEART! he would do anyting for anyone at the drop of a hat. He's the most amazing person I've ever met.

Kisses: Why did you choose Savannah for your wedding?

B&C: We both grew up here, met here and lived here so there really was no choice to make!

Kisses: Answering separately, what were your three favorite things about your wedding day?

Brianna:

1) Seeing Craig's face at the end of the aisle when the doors at the back of the church opened and I walked in. I will never forget it!

2) The overall vibe that day. It was this overwhelming sense of joy and happiness and you could really feel the love in the room!

3) I loved how our venues, flowers, food, etc all came together. I look back on our wedding day and wouldn't change a thing!

Craig:

1) Being alone with Bri at the end of a great day

2) Seeing Bri for the first time when the doors opened

3) Being with friends who I haven't seen in a while

We wish Craig and Brianna a wonderfully happy life together and hope their story will help you write your very own. Here are a few pictures from their wedding day for more inspiration ---

Kisses for now!

Kisses: How did you meet?

T&J: I had just started as a nurse at Memorial Health University Medical Center and knew my 10-year old Honda was in need of a new radio. I found Audio Link in the phone book and that just so happened to be John's business! He wrote his name and number on the bottom of my receipt and we went out a few weeks later. I got a new radio and met the love of my life! We've been together ever since.

Kisses: How did he propose?

T&J: John had been planning for weeks! We were on our way to a trip in the North Georgia Mountains and had planned to stop at my parents on the way. To my surprise, John stopped the car on the way at mile marker 100, came around to my side, got down on one knee and proposed. I cried and of course said yes! We then made our way to my parent's house and when we arrived, the pond in front of their house was glowing with lights, rose petals were floating in the pond and music was playing. We danced in the moonlight and celebrated with everyone – it was a magical time that I will never forget.

Kisses: Why did you choose Savannah for your wedding?

T&J: We both love how Savannah is so traditional, historic and romantic! John and I both love the squares downtown with the beautiful trees and open parks – it is unlike any other place in the world.

Kisses: List your top three favorite things about your wedding day, bride and groom answer separately.

Tammy:
1 – My dress! I called Kathi at The Gingerbread House Bridal and told her what I was looking for. She had already pulled a dress when I arrived and I absolutely loved it!
2 – The flowers! John Glosson, our florist, shared my vision and his creations were truly works of art that were amazing!
3 – The carriage! After the wedding ceremony we rode in a horse-drawn carriage - a white horse no less – and had some time just "us" while the guests were arriving at the reception. The time we had was so perfect as we rode through the parks and squares of Savannah and just enjoyed each other.

John:
1 – My Bride! I loved seeing Tammy for the first time, she was so beautiful.
2 – The carriage! The ceremony was done and we had a few moments to share together. It was the first time we were able to really hang out and talk to each other!
3 – The limo! We had an amazing wedding and the reception was so much fun. Our guests sent us away with sparklers and cheers and then we got in the limo on our way to Jacksonville, Florida where we would fly to Antigua the next day. All the stress was gone and we even had a basket of food packed for us! It was the only time we ate the whole night – it as just so good!

With so many details and so much planning, you never know what you'll remember most but one thing is for sure, at the end of the day, the stress goes away, any problems are forgotten and you have your one true love there with you as you start your lives together.

Happy Planning to all and Happy 1st Anniversary Tammy and John! We at Kisses wish you many, many more!

Kisses for now!
